The Nicosia District Court rejected on Thursday the plea of public company Alkis Hadjikyriakos (Frou-Frou Biscuits), which sought for the removal of Mrs. Nora Dikaiou from the Board of Directors. According to StockWatch sources, the Court made permanent the temporary decree which forbids the removal of Mrs. Dikaiou, one of the major shareholders, from the Board of Directors of the company and its subsidiaries.
The decree had been issued within the framework of the process during which Mrs. Dikaiou demanded the dissolution of the Company due to the violation of her rights and the authoritarian behaviour of the major shareholders and brother, Alkis Hadjikyriakos.
The Court declared that the Company will pay all expenses, while the further hearing of the case has been scheduled for January 24, 2008.
Mrs. Dikaiou was represented by the legal advisors Michalis Papapetrou and Pambos Ioannides and the Company by Giorgos Triantafyllides.
