KEO: Acquisition of land from Archbishopric completed

KEO announced the completion of the acquisition of land from the Holy Archbishopric of Cyprus.

According to an announcement released today, on November 24, 2014 KEO has completed the acquisition of land and the rights of usage, exploitation and profit upon such land from the Holy Archbishopric of Cyprus, which is a shareholder of the Company with shareholding in excess of 10%. The total consideration paid in regards to this agreement amounted to €1.750.000.

It is noted that the said land is used by the Company for the last 20 years and the Company has been paying usage fees of approximately €85.000 per annum.

In 2013, the Company’s losses amounted to €8.9 million against losses of €8 million in 2012.

In the first half of 2014, its losses stood at €286 thousand.

On September 26, 2014, the company announced the payment of an interim dividend of € 0,05 per share, due to the profit derived from the sale of the subsidiary Fifty Frith Street based in the United Kingdom.
