Logicom Public Limited, via its subsidiary I.C.T. Logicom Solutions SA (‘LogS’) based in Greece, signed an agreement with CA Europe Sarl for the exclusive representation of the solutions and products of CA Technologies in Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania and Skopje.
According to the agreement, LogS will employ the staff that CA employed in those countries. Apart from the employment and the strengthening of CA staff, no other significant investments will be demanded in the infrastructure of LogS Group.
CA Technologies is actively involved in the sector of solutions and IT systems software management specialized in a wide range of IT technologies. CA manages and offers protection to the IT systems, enabling its customers to offer more flexible services.
The majority of the companies included in the list of Global Fortune 500 is based on CA Technologies for the management of the developing IT systems.
The cooperation with CA is expected to contribute positively to the middle term increase in the Company’s turnover and profitability.
In 2009, Logicom Public Limited enjoyed profits of €5.2 million against profits of €5.9 million in 2008.
In the first nine months of 2010, it recorded lower profits of €2.2 million against profits o €4.1 million in the corresponding period of 2009.
