Muskita profits hit by exports

04/02/2009 10:11
The results of Muskita Aluminium are expected to be lower in 2008.

According to an announcement released today, the results have been largely affected by the decline in the turnover, mostly due to the lower export activity after the slowdown of the economies of Northern Europe, as well as the amortization of goodwill of the British subsidiary, Universal Components Ltd.

In the first nine months of 2008, the Company achieved profits of €8.26 million, while in 2007 it had enjoyed profits of €10.68 million.

The company will release its preliminary results on February 18.
