House of Representatives President Demetris Syllouris has stressed the need for a friendlier environment for change to happen.
Syllouris was addressing on Saturday morning the Cyprus Institute of Marketing (CIM) summit 2018 entitled “Keeping Ahead of Change,” in Nicosia.
“The CIM Summit provides annually the opportunity to executives to learn and exchange opinions regarding the latest developments in the business field,” he said.
“In our era of constant change, this year’s topic is a particularly relevant one,” he pointed out.
To stay ahead, he stressed, “we must change.”
“Only by changing can we be innovative and only by changing can we ensure that we are constantly improving,” the House President said.
He noted that “as a society and as a state, we need to provide for a friendlier environment for change to happen.”
“The business world is fast transforming into a global village and we cannot afford to stay outside it. This should be our commitment and our legacy,” he said.
