Press: Reduced losses for insurance companies

The “Economy” inset of newspaper “Phileleftheros” under the title “CSE: Improved results for insurance companies” reports that the insurance companies have reduced losses for 2003 compared to 2002, while they anticipate better days to come for 2004. According to the report, the companies have warned that premium increases will continue. For 2003, the sector increased its turnover by 5.7%, reducing losses to £2.5 million, which in 2003 amounted to £16.1 million.

Elsewhere the newspaper reports that the Annan plan has been reviewed by the employers’ organizations, including OEB.
