Local Banks Reduce Lombard Rate

Following an announcement by the Central Bank of Cyprus concerning reduction of the Lombard rate by 0.5%, the Bank of Cyprus, Popular Bank, Hellenic Bank and Alpha Bank made relevant announcements of reduction of their variable interest rates by the same percentage. The changes do not apply to loans or deposits with fixed interest rates.
