The Securities and Exchange Commission announced on Thursday that it imposed an administrative fine of £5,000 to the Managing Director of Tsokkos Hotels, Anastasia Tsokkou. The SEC supports that Mr. Tsokkou provided misleading information with regard to the investigation carried out by the Commission for the price fluctuation of TSH in the CSE. The investigation was carried out to ascertain whether there was a possible breach of the law on the acts of persons that hold confidential information and acts of market manipulation of 2005.
In a written statement, Mrs. Tsokkou said that she never gave misleading information and she will lodge an appeal.
