ETYK attacked Cyprus Popular Bank and its Chairman, Andreas Filippou once again on Tuesday, stressing that “mudslinging will not silence the organization”.

In its announcement, ETYK stated that “the new administration of Cyprus Popular Bank and especially the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Andreas Filippou attack ETYK and its Chairman with communication tricks”.

The trade union of the bank employees claimed the punishment of the guilty "for the bad shape of Cyprus Popular Bank" and noted that Mr. A. Filippou must not forget the scandals when he was a supervisor at the Central Bank and he must not forget where and when he was employed one day after his retirement”.

“For decades now, ETYK and its Chairman show that the interest of its members is above all”, the announcement concluded.
