Finance Minister Constantinos Petrides travels to Berlin Wednesday for a meeting with his counterpart Christian Lindner. During the meeting tomorrow they will discuss situation in the Eurozone following the Ukrainian crisis and sanctions on Russia. He will also sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with a state organization, responsible, inter alia, for reforms and digitalization.
A press release by the Ministry says that Petrides and Lindner will exchange views on the policies in the Eurozone that could tackle the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
Petrides is set to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with state organizationn PD – Berater der öffentlichen Hand Gmb, an organization responsible for promotion of reforms, project management, digitalization of procedures in the state sector with the aim to set up a similar authority in Cyprus.
Cyprus, with this initiative, will become one of the first European countries to participate in the newly founded network providing specialized services in the areas of reforms, modernization and digitalization of the public sector.
