President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades will participate this evening in a teleconference with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and EU leaders.
Government Spokesman Kyriakos Koushos told journalists that the President of the Republic will participate in a teleconference convened by the President of the European Council with a small group of EU leaders on the Eastern Mediterranean. Other EU leaders to participate are the heads of state and government of Greece, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
According to a press release by the Presidency, Koushos also recalled that during the last two days the President of the Republic received the Foreign Ministers of Croatia and Italy, whom he briefed on the latest developments in the Cyprus issue and discussed with them about EU -Turkey relations, as well as ways to deal with the pandemic.
