President takes part in last ordinary European Council

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades is participating in his last ordinary summit of the European Council before the end of his tenure, he said in a tweet, on Thursday.

"#EUCO just started. Agenda includes exchange with @EP_President, Ukraine/Russia, Energy & Economy, Security & Defence, Southern Neighbourhood and Transatlantic Relations,” the President wrote.

“This would be my last ordinary European Summit, before my tenure as President of Cyprus ends on 28 February 2023” he added.
