Through an official announcement, the Ministry of Agriculture & Natural Resources expressed its satisfaction towards the closing of the EU chapter on the Environment during Cyprus' negotiations for accession to the Community.
The statement highlights that this was a very difficult and complicated Chapter as it pertains to an extremely wide range of issues and its closing underlines the fact that Cyprus has come a long way with its negotiations for alignment with directives on the environment.
