President Anastasiades in Brussels for EUCO

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades travelled on Wednesday to Brussels to take part in the European Council which takes place on 23 and 24 June.

European leaders are set to discuss the Ukrainian crisis, economic issues and the Conference for the Future of Europe.

On the sidelines of the Council the President will meet with leaders of states and governments with whom he will discuss issues of mutual interest, the Cyprus problem and the latest provocations by Turkey, a Presidency press release says.

He is accompanied in Brussels by Government Spokesperson Marios Pelekanos and Deputy Minister to the President and recently appointed Labour Minister Kyriacos Koushos.
