The government has collected 84.48 million euro from the immovable property tax 2015 by December 3, which responds to 82.25% of the total amount owed.
The total discount granted to tax-payers who paid the tax by December 1st, benefiting from a discount of 20% and 17.5% according to the relevant law, was up to 20.29 million euro. The percentage of individual tax-payers who have paid their tax is 89.55%, while the responding percentage for legal persons is 70.49%.
A total of 77% of tax payers who belong to higher tax brackets have paid and the responding percentage for the remaining tax payers is 87%.
According to the records of the Tax Department, 272,003 tax payments were imposed, amounting to €127,391,054 and 236.300 have been paid. The Department collected by December 3 €84,488,985 for the 2015 immovable property tax with the discount amounting to €20,295,641.
The amount which remains to be collected is €22,804,614, which responds to 17.9% of the total amount of €127.39 million.
