27/07/2012 14:21
Troika is aware of the need to keep corporate tax at 10%, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus said on Friday.

ICPAC Chairman, Theodoros Parperis, after a two-hour meeting between members of the Association and troika, expressed the view that the foreign technocrats seem to have understood the significance of stability of the Cypriot general tax system and especially the need to keep corporate tax at 10%.

Mr. Parperis also said that that among the issues raised are the problems of the island’s economy, the need for changes in the public sector and the need to promote growth measures.

At the same time, they told the technocrats that growth will stem from investments, the international services, whether those services are professional or education, tourism and medical services.
