Police have carried out a total of 865 checks on premises overnight throughout Cyprus to ensure compliance with the measures put in place to curb the spread of Coronavirus on the island.
A Police Press Officer told CNA these checks have yielded fourteen bookings for violating Covid-19 decrees issued by the Ministry of Health.
Eight of the bookings were made in the district of Paphos concerning six bars and two restaurants.
