Police report 20 citizens and 5 premises' owners for COVID-19 measures violations

Cyprus police reported 20 citizens and 5 premises’ owners for violations of measures in place to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

A police spokesman told CNA that in the last 24 hours that ended on 06:00 local time, the police carried out a total of 585 checks.
 
In Nicosia, the police conducted 95 checks reporting nine citizens and 2 premises’ owners. In Limassol the police carried out 90 checks reporting one premise’s owner and 2 citizens, in Larnaca carried out 146 checks reporting 3 citizens and one premise’s owner and in Pafos out of 113 checks the police reported one premise’s owner and one citizen.
 
Also, the police also carried out 77 checks in Famagusta reporting the owner of one premise and one citizen while in the area of Morphou the police reported five citizens.
