President Papadopoulos announced on Friday the establishment of the Cyprus Institute, which will become a regional research and education institute with strong technological orientation.
As the CNA reports, Mr. Papadopoulos said that the government aims to make Cyprus a research and technology centre and the Institute will be able to make Cypriot scientists working abroad to return home.
