Government Spokesman tests positive for Covid-19

Cyprus Government Spokesman, Kyriacos Koushos, has tested positive for Covid-19.

Koushos said in a written statement on Friday afternoon that he had earlier undergone a PCR test and the result was positive. He added that he will remain in self-isolation for the next ten days at least and that he had no symptoms up until now.

"As it is already known I am in self-isolation since last Monday as a close contact of a confirmed Covid-19 case. Today I underwent a PCR test and the result was positive," he added.

"Therefore I will remain in self-isolation for the next ten days at least. Up until now I have had no symptoms," he added.
