Finance Minister, Michalis Sarris and the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister, Euripides Stylianides decided that Cyprus and Greece must proceed to a bilateral cooperation in the sector of international developmental cooperation and aid to the third and developing countries.

In his statements after their meeting, Mr. Stylianides said that Greece is bound to communicate the know-how that the country has acquired in the past few years to the Cyprus Services and Authorities.

“We agreed to proceed to common activities in order to promote an alternative diplomacy that will emit the sensitivity and compassion of the modern Greek civilization and will boost the philhellenic spirit to all countries that have to deal with poverty”, he noted.

Similarly, Mr. Sarris said that international developmental cooperation and aid to third and developing countries is significant not only for the political but also for the economic interest of Greece and Cyprus.
