New crisis in oil sector

02/06/2003 11:14
The relations between the oil companies and the petrol station owners go through a new crisis, as negotiations between the two sides after the latter’s request for an increase in their commission have reached a deadlock.

It is noted that the Petrol Station Owners Association has threatened with strike measures if the companies do not accept the request.

In an effort to avoid the imminent strike measures, the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Giorgos Lillikas, has called both parties to a joint meeting on Monday.
