Eight individuals were fined by Police in the last 24 hours for violations of COVID-19 measures after 1,648 checks across Cyprus.
All violations concerned the non use of masks in either cars or indoor areas.
No violations were reported in Nicosia and Limassol after a total of 523 checks while Larnaca and Pafos reported two violations after 422 checks.
Six individuals were reported in Famagusta after 395 checks while no fines were given following 46 checks in the Morphou region and a total of 253 checks by the Traffic and Port police.
