Police issued a total of 15 fines for violation of COVID-19 measures

Police have fined 7 individuals and 8 establishment owners for violation of the COVID-19 measures.

A Police Spokesperson told CNA that during the last 24 hours, 1,959 checks were carried out in all government-controlled areas.

In Nicosia, after 562 checks one individual and two establishment owners were fined while in Limassol during 277 checks another four people and two establishment owners were reported.

In Larnaca, an establishment owner and a citizen were fined for violations of COVID-19 measures after 435 checks while in Pafos two more establishment owners and a citizen were reported after 141 checks. In Famagusta only one establishment owner was fined following 319 checks. No violations of measures were found during 143 checks carried out in Morphou and 132 checks by the Traffic Police.
