Cyprus Police reported 121 individuals and one shop for violation of covid-19 protective measures.
A police spokesperson told CNA in the last 24hours ending on 6:00 Friday, the force carried out 9,991 island-wide checks.
In Nicosia, the Police carried out a total of 3,345 reporting 30 citizens and one shop, 1,889 checks were carried out in Limassol with 36 individuals fined, while 14 individuals were reported in Larnaca after 1,322 checks
In Pafos the Police reported 14 individuals after 868 checks, 23 individuals in Famagusta following 1,239 checks while 3 individuals were reported in Morphou following 820 controls.
Furthermore, the Traffic Department reported 1 individual after 458 checks mainly in highways whereas 34 and 16 checks were carried out by the Rapid Response Unit and Port Police with no fines issued.
