Police report 125 citizens and 1 shop owner for violations of COVID measures

Police reported 125  citizens and 1 shop owner for violations of COVID measures in a total of 7.200 checks across the island the last 24 hours.

A police officer from the Press Office told the Cyprus News Agency that in Nicosia the checks were 1.342 and 20 people were fined, in Limassol the Police conducted 1.341 checks and reported 53 citizens and in Larnaka the checks were 1.258 and 12 people were reported.

In Paphos the Police made  701 checks and reported  17 citizens and a shop owner, in Famagusta in 979 checks 13 people were reported and in Morphou in  total of 879 checks one citizen was fined.

The Traffic Department made 644 checks and reported 9 people and the Marine Police in a total of 56 checks did not make any reports.
