Police report 127 citizens and 3 premises for violating Covid-19 measures

Cyprus Police reported 127 citizens and 3 premises for violations of COVID-19 measures in a total of 10,653 checks during the last 24 hours island-wide.

A Police press officer told the Cyprus News Agency that in Nicosia 3,177 checks were carried out with 30 citizens and 2 premises being reported. In Limassol the Police booked 32 citizens and 1 establishment after 2,788 checks.

In Larnaca 1,104 checks were carried out and 10 citizens were fined. Moreover, 16 were reported by the Police in Paphos after 1,051 checks. In Famagusta 920 checks were carried out and 23 citizens were booked. In Morphou a total of 683 checks were carried out and 6 citizens were fined.

The Traffic Department carried out 889 inspections and reported 10 citizens.

Furthermore, the Cyprus Port & Marine Police carried out 11 checks with no reports.
