Police conducted 5,504 checks island-wide in the last 24 hours during which they reported 2 establishments and 76 individuals for violations of COVID-19 measures.
A police officer from the Press Office told the CNA that in Nicosia out of 2,120 checks 20 citizens were reported, in Limassol the checks were 1,002 and 35 citizens were fined while in Larnaka the Police conducted 840 checks and fined 1 establishment and 9 citizens.
In Paphos the checks were 698 and 1 establishment and 10 citizens were reported and in Famagusta the Police made 482 checks during which 1 citizen was reported.
In Morphou the checks were 342 and 1 citizen was fined while the Marine Police made 20 checks with zero reports.
