Police report 32 citizens and 13 premises for violating Covid-19 protective measures

Cyprus Police reported 32 citizens and 13 premises the last 24 hours for violating protective measures to contain the spread of Covid-19 disease.

On Monday it was announced that the force carried out 851 checks in the government-controlled areas to observe compliance with Covid-19 protective measures.
 
A total of 152 checks were carried out in Nicosia reporting 17 citizens and 3 premises, 138 were conducted in Limassol with four citizens and six premises reported, while 175 checks were carried out in Larnaca with one premise and 7 citizens reported. The Police also carried out 109 checks in Pafos reporting two premises and one citizen while 183 checks were made in Famagusta with one premise and 3 citizens reported.
 
Furthermore, 94 checks were carried out in the Morphou area with no citizens or premises reported, whereas Port and Marine Police carried out 64 checks with no fines issued.
