Police report 48 citizens for violating measures against COVID-19

Cyprus Police carried out 2,381 checks during the last 24 hours and reported 48 citizens for violating the measures aiming to curb the further spread of the coronavirus.

A police press officer told CNA that in Nicosia there were 565 checks and 7 citizens were reported, in Limassol 333 checks and 15 citizens were reported and in Larnaka 493 checks with 10 citizens being reported.

In Paphos there were 585 checks, during which the Police reported 7 citizens, while in Famagusta 5 citizens were reported during 297 checks. In Morphou there were 77 checks and 4 citizens were reported. The Port Police carried out 31 checks with no reports.
