Police report 48 individuals and 4 premises for violating measures against Covid-19

Cyprus Police reported 48 individuals and 4 premises during the last 24 hours for violating the measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

A police spokesperson told the CNA that a total of 2,935  checks were carried out during the last 24 hours, 285 in Nicosia, 507 in Limassol, 687 in Larnaca, 382 in Pafos, 470 in Famagusta and 467 in Morphou.

Four persons were booked in Nicosia, fourteen in Limassol, sixteen in Larnaca, two persons and 3 premises were booked in Pafos, eleven persons and 1 premise were fined in Famagusta and one in Morphou.

Furthermore, 118 checks were carried out by the Traffic Department and 19 by the Port Police with no violations reported.
