Police report 73 citizens for violations of COVID measures

Police reported 73 citizens in a total of 10.524 checks the last 24 hours for violations of COVID measures.

A police officer from the Press Office told the Cyprus News Agency that in Nicosia the checks were 3.337 and the Police fined 24 citizens, in Limassol the Police carried out 3.267 checks and fined 29 citizens and in Larnaca the checks were 1.067 and 5 people were fined.

The Police conducted 938 checks in Paphos and fined 5 citizens, in Famagusta 9 people were fined in a total of 735 checks and in Morphou none was fined in 734 checks.

Finally, the Marine Police carried out 31 and the Emergency Response Unit 31 checks with zero reports. One citizen was fines in 405 checks by the Traffic Department.
