Police report 75 citizens and one establishment for COVID-19 measures violations

The Cyprus Police reported 75 citizens and one establishment during a total of  8,011 checks the last 24 hours for COVID-19 measures violations.

A Police officer told CAN that the fines concerned the non-use of protective mask which is mandatory both indoors and outdoors, as well as violating curfew rules after 21:00.

In Nicosia the checks were 2,097 during which 17 citizens and one establishment were reported, in Limassol the Police conducted 3,261 checks and reported 20 citizens, in Larnaka the checks were 637 and 9 citizens were reported, in Pafos after 1.061 checks 21 citizens were reported, in Famagusta 8 citizens were reported following 715 checks and in Morphou after 244 checks there were no reports.

The Marine Police conducted 41 checks with zero reports.
