The Cyprus Police reported 79 individuals and one establishment for violating measures in place aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus.
A Police spokesperson told CNA that since Tuesday, the Police carried out 3,631 checks. Most violations were failure to wear a protective mask and breaking the curfew.
The Police reported 24 individuals and one premise in Nicosia, 15 individuals in Limassol, 10 in Larnaca, 18 in Paphos, nine in Famagusta and three in Morphou.
No violations were reported by the Port Police or in airports.
