Significant progress has been achieved towards the implementation of e-justice in Cyprus within the timeframe set, an official press release said.

A meeting was held on Wednesday at the Ministry of Justice and Public Order with the participation of Justice Minister Stephie Drakos, Deputy Minister to the President for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Kyriacos Kokkinos, President of the Cyprus Bar Association Dr. Christos Clerides and relevant agencies in the framework of implementation of justice reform.

The Bar Association chairman as well as representatives of the Supreme Court expressed satisfaction about the significant progress made in implementing e-justice within the set timeframe.

It was noted that the goal set for the full implementation of the system on January 1, 2023 is feasible, since on September 12 Cyprus enters the final phase of the application’s pilot trial during which the final checks and corrections will be carried out.

We are in the final stretch for electronic justice with the Justice Minister and Deputy Minister for Research sending encouraging messages for the implementation of the system within the timeframe agreed, the press release added.
