A total of 349,411 SMS sent for movement permission by citizens on Tuesday

A total of 349,411 sms movement requests were sent on Tuesday marking an increase of 1,957 over the previous day.

According to data released by the Deputy Ministry for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, approved messages on Tuesday amounted to 335,319 compared with 332,319 on Monday.

On Monday a total of 347,454 sms messages were sent of which 335,811 were valid and 332,147 were approved. On Tuesday, total sms messages amounted to 349,411 of which 338,295 were valid and 335,319 have been approved.

From the approved messages, the most preferred reason for sms permission concerned reason 2, that is movement for provisions with 125,672 and 124,806 sms messages sent on Monday and Tuesday respectively.

The most popular reason was 6, that is, going out for personal exercise, with 74,433 and 78,815 messages sent on Monday and Tuesday respectively.

These two reasons represented 61.4% and 61% of the approved messages sent on Monday and Tuesday.

According to the data, the third most preferred reason for sms permission request was number 8, that is movement for other reason justified by the restrictive measures, with a total of 70,673 and 75,512 messages sent on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
