UN official for Cyprus to attend UN meeting

Michael Moller, UN Secretary General’s Representative in Cyprus, is currently in New York to attend the meeting between the Secretary General, Kofi Annan and the Heads of UN Peacekeeping missions.

As the CNA reports, Mr. Moller is expected to have talks with Mr. Annan on the Cyprus issue, while yesterday he discussed the problem with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Matt Bryza and the Cyprus Permanent Representative to the UN, Andreas Mavroyiannis. He is also expected to have lunch with the UN Undersecretary General, Ibrahim Gambari.
