The results of Salamis have showed improvement this year.
According to its interim management statement, the turnover rose 5% with the sectors of tourism and shipping recording an increase of 3% and the sector of clearance and international transport going up 7%.
According to the company, this improvement is mostly attributable to the increased turnover and the lower administrative expenses and depreciations.
As for the prospects, the results for the entire 2014 and taking into account the progress of the Company’s activities, the results are expected to show significant improvement.
In 2013, the company announced profits of €462.3 thousand against losses of €3.3 million in 2012.
In the first half of 2014, the loss attributable to shareholders stood at €29.8 thousand.
