Alfa Mega seems to have proceeded with the acquisition of three Orphanides super markets today.
According to information, at 14.00 the administrators of Orphanides super markets ratified the bid of the three ORF super markets to Alfa Mega. The administrators examined several bids from both other supermarkets and retail trade companies.
These are the supermarkets of former Orphanides in Skarinou, Larnaca and Kolossi.
Sources say that Alfa Mega will pay €14.5 million.
The agreement must be ratified by Bank of Cyprus.
This was the second round of bids launched by the administrators, as there was no response in the first procedure.
