The serious problems that Cyprus Airways faces will be discussed by Finance Minister, Vassos Shiarly and the trade unions of SEK and PEO tomorrow.
The Minister stressed that he is aware of the size of the problems. “I am optimistic that if employees cooperate so that CAIR becomes competitive under the current conditions, a solution may be found”, he said.
“This solution may secure the continuance of CAIR’s operations”, he added.
“The time required for the completion of the procedures is one-two months”, he said.
The Minister’s statements were made in the sidelines of a press conference for the fiscal results of the first quarter, after completing one month from the date he was appointed as Finance Minister.
