Marfin Popular Bank is high on the list of the top European banks in terms of capital adequacy, according to “The Banker” magazine.
According to the bank’s announcement, MPB is 72nd among the top 200 European banks on the basis of the Tier 1 Index.
Marfin’s inclusion in the strongest banks of the euro area (in capital adequacy) confirms the strong foundations and the right strategy of the Group in this complicated and competitive environment.
According to “the Banker”, Marfin was the bank of the year for Cyprus in 2010, the announcement concluded.
