CSE Council ask for FinMin's intervention

05/02/2003 12:08
CSE Council members publicly asked the Finance Minster Takis Clerides to intervene in order to resolve the administrative conflict that erupted in the Council.

The CSE Council members – that preferred to retain their anonymity – told “SW” about the chaotic conditions that prevail in the Council, stressing that no one has the right to stain CSE’s reliability.

“Mr. Clerides must intervene before the CSE falls apart. It is time that he provides a radical solution to the administrative team of the CSE”, the members said.

The contrasting approaches that CSE members hold date back to the chairmanship of Mr Paris Lenas and reached a peak during Mr Pavlos Savvides’s chairmanship.

Finally, the CSE members told StockWatch that the current CSE Council Chairman, Pavlos Savvides, is an expert in CSE matters, but he is not the kind of leader that could inspire the CSE.
