Local beer consumption and beer exports increase in July

Local beer consumption and beer exports from local breweries increased in July 2018, according to data released by the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus.
 
Total local consumption and exports amounted to 5,361,323 liters last month, compared to 5,195,758 liters in June 2018 and 5,042,311 liters in July 2017.
 
Therefore, local consumption and exports grew in July 2018 by 3% compared to June 2018 and by 6.3% compared to June 2017.
 
According to the same data, most of the local beer production in July 2018 went to local consumption, with 5,135,439 liters, and the remaining 225,884 liters were exported.
