According to CYSTAT data released on Friday, the price of oil products recorded a sharp increase of 33.8% in December 2005.
Specifically, the price of industrial products increased by 3.5% and the price of timber, stone and quarry products showed an increase of 2.7%.
On the other hand, the price of electrical mechanical and chemical products dropped by 0.6% and 0.3% respectively.
The construction material general index recorded an increase of 4% compared to December 2004, while for the full year 2005 it surged 5.46% against 2004.
