Retail trade turnover value and volume were up by 8.6% and 8.1% respectively in the first seven months of this year, data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service show on Monday.
In particular, according to the Statistical Service, the turnover value index of retail trade for July increased by 9.7% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
For the same month, the turnover volume index of retail trade increased by 4.9% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
For the period January-July 2021 the value index is estimated to have recorded an increase of 8.6% and the volume index an increase of 8.1% compared to the same period of 2020.
