According to CYSTAT data released on Friday, car registrations have showed an increase in March 2007.
Specifically, the used car registrations surged 62.9% to 2,412 compared to 1,481 in the corresponding month of 2006. Similarly, new car registrations recorded an increase of 22.6% to 2,125 against 1,734 in March 2006.
Total private saloon car registrations increased 41.1% to 4,537 against 3,215 in 2006.
In the first quarter of 2007, new car registrations surged 20.1%, used car registrations showed an increase of 44.5% while total saloon registrations rose 31.6% to 12,262 compared to 9,316 in the corresponding period of 2006.
