Finance Minister, Charilaos Stavrakis will be the new Vice President of Eurogroup for the next 24 months, a Finance Ministry announcement said.
Eurogroup composes of the Finance Ministers of all 17 euro area member states and its President is the Luxembourgian Prime Minister, Jean-Claude Juncker. Eurogroup hold regular meetings (once a month), just before ECOFIN and plays an important role in forming the European policy in economic and financial issues.
