07/10/2015 17:13
The Government`s plans for the economy do not stop at 2018, Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides noted on Wednesday.

“The Government has a long-term plan to make sure that we will not go back to the conditions of March 2013” he told the press after the Cabinet`s meeting.

Christodoulides noted as positive developments for the economy its upgrade by credit rating agencies, Cyprus` return to the international capital markets and the fact that the country is close to its exit from the IMF-EU bailout.

The effort is continuous and the Government`s prudent policy as well as its cooperation with the House of Representatives, the social partners and the people of Cyprus, will go on, he said.
