Industrial turnover up

Industrial turnover recorded an increase this August on an annual basis and in the first eight months of 2019, data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service, on Wednesday, show.

In particular, the industrial turnover index for August 2019 reached 125.8 units (base 2015=100), recording an increase of 6.6% compared to August 2018.

During the period January – August 2019, the index showed an increase of 7.0% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

In manufacturing, the index for August 2019 reached 118.2 units, recording an increase of 6.8% compared to August 2018.
