An increase of 13.7% was recorded in the Industrial Turnover Index in March 2023, reaching 196.7 units on an annual basis.
According to data released on Friday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus, for the period January-March 2023, the index showed an increase of 15.2% compared to the same period last year.
In the manufacturing sector, the index reached 191.1 units in March 2023, marking a 14.1% increase compared to March 2022.
There was also a rise in the mining and quarrying sector by 42.0% and in the electricity supply sector by 13.6%.
The water supply and materials recovery sector experienced a decrease of 2.5% compared to March 2022.
